However, many speed lovers are disappointed with the performance of GT86, and are classified as a slow-powered sports car.

The engine is actually quite capable, with kitchen runway boxer 4-cylinder 2.0 liter capacity, capable of spewing power 200 hp.

Many fans ask Toyota to boost its performance, such as adding a forced induction of turbo, especially now turbo engine is very plural. However, the head of Gt86 development, Tetsuya Tada confirmed it would be difficult to materialize.

"When launching the GT86, a lot of people ask when the turbine variant is off, and I always reply that there will not be a GT86 turbo, and some media just preach that I do not like turbo," Tada told CarAdvice.

"It's not true, I like turbo, but to make the turbo-powered GT86, it will take a lot of changes, and that means it needs a new platform, so it's no easy matter to change the engine," the Japanese man said.
