Sales and Marketing 2Wheel Department Head PT Indomobil Suzuki Sales (SIS) Yohan Yahya said Suzuki is still monitoring the 150 cc adventure market. Currently, the adventure market has enlivened three manufacturers, namely Kawasaki, Viar, and Honda. According to him, the monitoring was to ensure the level of market economy. "We see the market first, once the market is good, we enter," said Yohan, Wednesday, March 7, 2018.

In fact, in history, Suzuki quite successful in the sale of motorcycle adventure from the 1980s to the 1990s. One of the legendary model is the Suzuki TS 125. In his time, this bike is very popular with young people and become a trend. Suzuki TS rely on a two-stroke 125 cc engine. The torque is very promising.

According to Yohan, history is still a consideration. Suzuki currently also has a 150 cc motorcycle that has a capable performance. The machine has been attached to the Satria, GSX-R150 and GSX-S150 series. Yohan said that the current market is still relatively small, but the players quite a lot.

"If we talk about adventure, more or less the market is 4,000-5,000 units a month with some brands," he said.

This year, Suzuki will introduce eleven new motorcycle models to increase market share. This year, Suzuki set sales target rose 2 percent compared to last year's market share of about 1 percent. However, in the plan, Suzuki has not been interested in working on the adventure segment. "Because the biggest market is automatic, yes, most (new products) are automatic," says Yohan.
